Judith Andrade
RN, IBCLC; D.Div.
Judith is a Registered Nurse and Interfaith Spiritual Minister who has had an interest in holistic health care and wellness for over 25 years; The development of her spiritual work and practice has enhanced her healing arts to include mind, body and Spirit. She continues to pursue education as a means of keeping active and involved in her professional and community work. For over 30 years she has been helping women navigate the many stages, milestones, and cycles of their lives.
Gertrude King
CAHT CR PSW
For the past ten years, Gertrude has been dedicating her path to health care and healing. She is certified in Aromatherapy Massage and Reflexology, as well as aesthetics. She is a Reiki Master and Therapeutic Touch Practitioner. As a Doula, Gertrude supports families during childbirth. In her community work as a Personal Support Worker, Gertrude provides physical care and palliative support. In 2004, she was ordained as a minister.
Gyma Dawson
Gyma Dawson passed away quietly in her sleep some time in Mar 31, 2005. She was an active member of our group and one of the founding members of the Discover the Path at Hestia's Hearth Spiritual Organization.Much of the work at 'The Hearth' from its origins as a barn to its inception the opening in August 2004 was done personally by Gyma. She was indeed our 'HearthKeeper' and remained true to her role as an Earth Steward by creating a magical space and keeping it as natural as possible.
Her passing left a large gap in our lives and our work.
In May 2005, the Board of Directors voted to rename the grounds on which The Hearth stands in honour of her memory.
Today The Gyma Dawson Centre for the Healing Arts will continue to provide Spiritual support to women in Ontario and beyond as we continue our mandate to Discover the Path, then make it new!
